Prescriptions

Repeat prescriptions will be issued at the doctor's discretion and are normally for patients on long-term treatment.

Napier Road Surgery is requesting that you use the NHS App, a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services. You can use the NHS App to view and share proof of your Covid-19 vaccination status for travel, get health advice, book appointments, order repeat prescriptions, request a new prescription and view your GP health record, and more.

To use the NHS App you must have an Apple or Android smart phone or tablet.

In order to improve our services, Napier Road Surgery will only be accepting repeat prescription requests via the NHS App.  Once registered, you will be able to see your available medicines and choose a pharmacy for your prescriptions to be sent to.

For patients that do not own an Apple of Android smart device, you can order your repeat medication by simply handing in a list of medication required at the surgery reception desk (prescription repeat slip or hand written request). If you would like the prescription posted to you please supply an SAE

We will NOT be accepting community pharmacy repeat requests after Monday 6th September 2021.

Please click on the following link for more information, and instructions on how to download the NHS App

To avoid mistakes, we are unable to accept telephone requests for repeat prescriptions.
